Winding paths of electrical tubes created a “luminous constellation” against a “black sky” ceiling.

The need for a temporary solution before moving to a larger and new school was solved by the refurbishment of the ground floor of a 70s housing block. The project is conditioned by two factors: the intervention needed to be built in a record period of 2 months, and it had to be adjusted to a very tight budget. Ordinary infrastructural elements are used as ornaments and winding paths of electrical tubes create a “luminous constellation” against a "black sky" ceiling. The openings in the corridors are covered by a wooden and metal lattice structure, protecting the windows while filtering the light to the interior.
