The public-institutional nature of the candid and stern facade is the protagonist of a conscious and respectful relationship with the environment.
A building of classical architectural proportions and a gentle presence is projected for the new health centre in Consell, Mallorca. An open field site sitting on the edge of the town results in the implantation of a mimetic object discretely placed in the landscape.
The public-institutional nature of the candid and stern facade is the protagonist of a conscious and respectful relationship with the environment. The proposal introduces a “medicinal” courtyard inside a square plan wrapped up in a solemn facade of terracotta tiles. The cross-laminated timber structure (CLT) helps to speed up the construction while reducing CO2 emissions.
